We take the time to properly prepare the base to limit movement, remove and limit undergrowth intrusion, and support the structure. Then we add structural fill aggregate to ensure permeation, drainage, and further restrict movement. Next, our craftsmen design and build custom forms and reinforcements using rebar for tensile strength, durability, and support. Lastly, we pour and finish the new concrete. Ideally, fully cured concrete should be sealed annually, or at a minimum of once every 1-3 years. But we don't live in a perfect world, and concrete is rarely sealed regularly, and often, never sealed at all.
Sealant offers protection from staining, discoloring, and water penetration. Unsealed concrete may begin to crack, spall, and flake causing unsightly cosmetic issues.
Water intrusion over time can compromise the structural integirty of your concrete, causing a cosmetic issue to change into safety issue.
Unkept, damaged, sunk or shifted concrete can also create trip hazards. Unresolved trip hazards can result in injuries to you and your family.
